People of the Way: People of Prayer pt 2

Oct 27, 2024    Wade Bishop

The Lord's Prayer, as taught by Jesus in Matthew 6:9-13, is more than a set of words; it's a guide to a deeper relationship with God. It begins with 'Our Father,' reminding us of our communal faith and God's fatherly care. The prayer encourages us to see life from God's heavenly perspective, honor His name, seek His kingdom, trust in His provision, practice forgiveness, and seek His protection from temptation and evil. By incorporating this prayer into daily life, we can align ourselves more closely with God's will and deepen our faith.
