Cross to Crown: The Temple and Tree

Our sermon, "Restoring Holiness back to the Temple/Flipping Tables to Altars," explored Jesus' actions during the beginning of Passion Week. We delved into two significant events: Jesus cleansing the Temple and cursing the fig tree. These stories remind us of the importance of maintaining holiness in our lives and bearing genuine spiritual fruit. The sermon challenged us to examine areas where we may have become complacent in our faith and encouraged us to allow Jesus to "flip tables" in our hearts, restoring our lives as temples of the Holy Spirit.
